二、教学目标
1.学生能听、说、读、用:What are they doing? They are eating lunch.What is the little monkey doing? It’s playing with its mother. 等现在进行时的句子。
2.能够听、说、表演Let’s talk部分的内容。
三、教学重、难点
1.能够在实际语境中运用关于描述正在做事情的问答句。
2.能够表演Let’s talk的内容。
3.生词bamboo, its的理解。

五、教学流程
Step 1. Warm-up
1. Greetings.
2. 复习短语:“Shape eyes.”
3. 情景设置:Chen Jie and Mike go to the zoo.
4. 导入本课:
A riddle.  (Panda.)
T: What’s panda’s favourite food? They like bamboo.
Today we’ll have a match of collecting bamboo leaves for the pandas.
Step 2. Presentation /Practice
1.学习Let’s try.
1)出示Let’s try的图片,让学生看图描述:
 Look at the birds/ tiger. What … doing?
2)播放录音,学生完成Let’s try,师生一起核对答案。
2.学习Let’s talk.
1) 对话情景的导入。T:Chen Jie and Mike are in the zoo now. Do you see any...? What are they doing? Please listen and answer.
2) 完整对话的呈现。
听录音,回答问题,板书句型。
3) 对话操练。
A. 听录音,跟读对话。师示范带读。
B. Pair Work.
C. 编创对话。
T请学生利用提供的图片,结对编一个即兴对话。
Step 3. Consolidation/Extension
1. Watch and answer. T播放一段学生在教室里正在做不同事情的视频,让生观看并找出不同人物都在干什么。
eg: What are Sarah and John doing? They are playing chess.
T: In our school, every student can play chess. They like playing chess. (渗透象棋教育)
在我们学校,人人都会下棋. 他们喜欢下棋。
2. Group work. 再看一遍视频,让学生小组合作,完成汇报练习。
六、Summing up
1.总结与评价:Who gets the most leaves?
2. Homework:
(1)听、读Let’s talk部分内容, 并和同伴一起表演;
(2)仿照Let’s talk部分,编创一段新对话。
